Opis projekta

Škole kao odgojno-obrazovne ustanove važno su okruženje za rast i razvoj svakog djeteta. Djeca u školi provode značajan dio svog vremena, kroz učenje, igru i druženje izgrađujući svoju socijalnu mrežu i sebe kao pojedinca te je upravo škola ključno mjesto na kojem se uče, promoviraju, ali i ostvaruju dječja prava. Participacija učenika u školi podrazumijeva različite stvari: od formalne participacije kroz učenička predstavnička tijela, individualni doprinos na razini razreda, sudjelovanje u akcijama i projektima do samostalnog iniciranja projekata u školi. Cilj ovog istraživanja je steći dublje razumijevanje participacije djece u sustavu odgoja i obrazovanja iz perspektive djece (učenika) i odraslih (nastavnika i stručnih suradnika). Definirana su sljedeća istraživačka pitanja: kako učenici i odrasli doživljavaju školu; kako učenici i odrasli doživljavaju participaciju djece u školi; koji su oblici i razine participacije učenika u školama; koja je uloga vijeća učenika u odnosu na participaciju djece u školi; koja je uloga odraslih u participaciji učenika u školi?; što potiče, a što otežava participaciju djece u školi?

As educational institutions, schools represent an important environment in the growth and development of every child. Children spend a significant part of their time at school, where they create their own social networks and develop as individuals through learning, playing, and socializing. Therefore, school is in fact the key place for learning about, promotion and the fulfilment of children's rights. Participation of students in school activities implies different things: from formal participation through student representative bodies, individual contribution at class level, participation in activities and projects, to independent initiation of projects in school. The aim of this research is to gain a deeper understanding of the participation of children in the education system from the perspective of children (students) and adults (teachers and school counselors). The following research questions have been defined: how do students and adults experience schools; how do students and adults experience the participation of children in school activities; what are the forms and levels of the participation of students in school activities; what is the role of student councils in relation to the participation of children in school activities; what is the role of adults in student participation in school activities; what encourages children to participate in school activities and what makes it more difficult for them to do so?
